Frequently ASked Questions

How can TCS help me ensure the accuracy of my safety score information?

TCS will collaborate with your team to assess accidents and roadside inspections for legitimacy and preventability. Should we identify an accident as unpreventable or a roadside violation as illegitimate, your certified Compliance Specialist will contest these on your behalf through the DataQ process. TCS does not contest any legitimate violation on behalf of a motor carrier.

Will TCS stand with us on FMCSA audits?

TCS offers audit representation as an extra service. Upon your request, TCS will act as your representative in an FMCSA audit, aiding in the submission of any required documentation. We collaborate with you and your team to prepare for potential audits, offering the necessary information and tools to ensure a successful outcome.

What training does TCS provide?

TCS provides training for drivers and managers, with options for on-site or online learning. Our library includes safety and regulatory courses to keep your company compliant. We offer both free and paid training options.

Can I schedule drug and alcohol testing online?

Yes. Through the TCS Client Portal, users have the capability to choose from clinics located nationwide to schedule both drug and alcohol tests electronically. All testing and results scheduled through TCS will seamlessly integrate into your client portal.

What is the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and will TCS handle it for me?

The Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse (DACH) is a secure online database operated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). DACH provides employers, state driver licensing agencies, and state law enforcement personnel real-time information about commercial driver’s license (CDL) and commercial learner’s permit (CLP) holders’ drug and alcohol program violations. TCS offers comprehensive support services for all your driver qualification requirements. Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse queries can be conducted automatically or upon your request.

What can I expect from the onboarding process?

How long it takes to get started depends on how big your fleet is and how quickly we get all the paperwork we need. Sometimes, we can speed things up and have everything ready in just a few days, but it depends on how complicated things are. Once we have all your paperwork, our experts will review it carefully, address any problems, and come up with solutions to help you stay compliant.

What determines how your services are priced?

TCS helps make sure your company follows all the rules to stay safe. Our prices depend on how much help you need and how big your fleet is. We believe in using the best technology and working closely with others in the industry. This might make our services a bit pricier, but it means you get a lot of support and resources all in one spot.

After signing the agreement, what happens next?

After we finish processing your service agreement, you'll get a welcome email explaining how to access your online client portal. Then, your assigned Certified Compliance Specialist will reach out to you to start planning your onboarding process.
